The idea of SEAC happened during a cold, wintry ten mile run between two former college track teammates. After months of preparation, design and construction, SEAC opened it’s doors on October 26, 2009 to a warm reception from the South End of Boston.
SEAC was founded on the idea that fitness, fashion and fun should coexist. SEAC’s product mix will keep you at peak performance with the best technical footwear, apparel and accessories while also offering a fun selection of sport heritage lifestyle wear. It’s a place where hardcore fitness and style finally meet!
Co-founders, Dan Fitzgerald and Justin Burdon, are former college track teammates, roommates and friends. Post-college Dan’s other passion, surfing, led him to a job with Quiksilver as a sales rep for the New York and New England region. Meanwhile, Justin became a CPA and worked for Ernst & Young in Toronto and Boston. A passion for fitness, fashion and fun led them to turn their idea into reality with the opening of SEAC.
